Howdy! Meet Charlie and Jennifer Nichols of Doodles Of Cypress! At Doodles of Cypress we specialize in Multi-Generational, high Golden Retriever Content, Mini & Medium Goldendoodle puppies and are proud to add Golden Cavadoodles to our program. Dog companionship, care, and breeding have been in Jennifer's blood since birth. Her grandfather was a small animal Veterinarian for 60+ years and bred Beagles and Chihuahuas for most of that time alongside her grandmother.
We are a family here at Doodles of Cypress and our dams and sires are a very important and special part of our family. These dogs are our pets. They live day in and day out alongside us, cuddling, playing, and enjoying a life full of love and attention. All of our breeding Sires and Dams are FULLY health tested (Embark and/or Paw Print/Animal Genetics for Genetics and PennHip/OFA for structure - hips, elbows, patellas, basic cardiac, and eyes) and under the care of a Reproductive Veterinarian.

Coming from my professional background as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, I know the value of continuing education and that absolutely applies with our Breeding Program.
Here at Doodles Of Cypress we follow the Badass Breeder (BAB) Program Curriculum. BAB Programs have to agree to a unifying oath that governs their breeding practices as well as includes opportunities for continuing education to ensure pups are going home having had a balanced 8 to 9 weeks, including Early Neurological Stimulation exercises, Early Scent Introduction, nerve strengthening exercises, confidence building challenges, culminating in a temperament evaluation so our Pup Parents can make the MOST informed decision regarding which pup is going to fit BEST into their lives, ensuring a happy, healthy adjustment for all, not simply based off of color and sex of puppy alone. We are passionate about this as it saves Puppy AND Human Lives and heals hearts the Badass Breeder Way.
The Goldendoodle Association of North America is THE most prestigious and thorough Registration Organization for Goldendoodles and we are PROUD to have earned this GOLD LEVEL BREEDER badge.
GOLD LEVEL GANA Membership requires Goldendoodle Breeders to FULLY health test all of their breeding animals and to provide proof that testing has taken place. We could NOT be more proud to say that we have achieved the Coveted GOLD LEVEL Breeder Status, which means we have completed EVERY health and structure exam for the Goldendoodle Breed required by GANA. All of our puppies come with LIMITED GANA registration, meaning they are sold on a STRICT Spay/Neuter Contract and spay/neuter is required at 18 months of age for our puppies.

Our dams and sires have been FULLY health tested and come from health tested lines. When choosing a breeder for Goldendoodle Puppies and Golden Cavadoodle Puppies, it is essential for the client to find out specifically what health tests are done and ask for proof of testing.
Our mission is to provide families with happy, healthy, affectionate, sound additions to their families. We are also TICKLED PINK when one (or two) of our puppies in a litter qualify through temperament testing to be placed in a Working Dog Placement such as Service Dog, Therapy Dog, Facility Dog, or ESA Dog. Since the beginning, we have produced MANY puppies who have gone on to serve in working placements such as Schools, Memory Care facilities, Psychiatrist Offices, Therapist Offices, and homes with extra needs. WE COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD!!!
Doodles of Cypress is proud to display this badge designating Jennifer Nichols, Owner of Doodles of Cypress, as a Certified Tier II BAB Puppy Evaluator. This is the HIGHEST awarded distinction for BAB Temperament Evaluators.
In order to earn this designation, Jennifer had to not only read and apply the BAB Ultimate Breeder's Guide, but also complete a 5 week BAB Mentorship Class, and complete a 10 hour class on Conducting BAB Puppy Evaluations. Additionally, Jennifer had to submit video of herself conducting an evaluation as well as the corresponding score card where the evaluation is interpreted. This submission was then evaluated by highly trained and Jeanette Forrey Approved designated
Master Evaluators.
Jennifer has also completed the requirements to be designated a Comprehensive BAB, which requires a BAB to complete all the requirements to be a Certified Evaluator and also has proven that we FULLY health test our foundation dogs and adhere STRICTLY to the BAB Oath.
This badge signifies that Doodles Of Cypress, specifically Jennifer Nichols, has gone above and beyond in seeking and attaining BAB educational enrichment and FULLY Health tests ALL breeding stock, both genetically and structurally. It is Proof that she has demonstrated the following:
Good Dog.com uses a screening process to determine if a breeding program is legitimate or not. In this age of Dog/Puppy Scammers, Puppy Mills, and dangerous Backyard Breeding (not to be confused with Home Breeders) being recognized by the stringent program requirements of Good Dog (which included health testing) is an honor.
We are proud and excited to announce that Perdita, our beautiful, incredible temperamented F1b Goldendoodle, trained as an AAT dog, will be paired with a small mini multi-gen Goldendoodle. We are also considering Dual-Siring this litter with our Tucker to ensure we have babies as we know Perdita and Tucker pair well.
The puppies will have similar traits as our past litters: biddable, human focused, excellent temperaments, from FULLY health tested stock. Colors will be: Chocolate, Red, (hoping for) Chocolate Merle, and in Abstract, Parti, and Solid. Coats will be wavy to wavy/curly. Pups will be small mediums, expected to be under 35/40 lbs, but again, no guarantees as this is a first time pairing.
Go Home is estimated to be Fall 2026. More info when Perdita goes into heat.

We are so incredibly excited about this upcoming litter! Reba, our F1b Goldendoodle (25.6% Golden Retriever) with extremely tight curl will be paired AGAIN with Red Dawn's AKC pure bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Oliver. Red Dawn, like Doodles Of Cypress, is committed to only breeding healthy dogs, so Oliver has been fully health tested (genetic and OFAs).
Together, Reba & Oliver will produce outstanding companions who are loyal, outgoing, brave, and cheerful -- all in a small package! Their coats should be low shed and wavy to wavy/curly. All puppies will be red parti (red and white). We are accepting applications NOW! Go-Home will be Fall 2026. Note the graphic is from their past litter, Go Home for this new litter is FALL 2026.
